This (http://reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=topNews&storyID=5529484&pag eNumber=0) makes me very happy.

Although... considering it was competing with White Chicks(no. 2) and Dodge Ball(no. 3) causes a bit of hesitation and questioning whether this was a real victory or not. It would be comparable to Michael competing in the special olympics.

"White Chicks" was doomed to fail regardless of which weekend it opened.

Yes but the fact that it managed to claim the #2 behind Mr. Moore is a bit telling of the competition he had this particular opening weekend. Anything would have been better than White Chicks.

Who are the people that ok the making of these movies? From previews alone I can look at a movie and tell whether or not it will do any good.

But then again maybe not, hasn't "The Day After Tomorrow" already disappeared?

I got a copy of Farenhiet 9/11 on DVD and I've been watching it on my computer.

After watching it a few more times, I realize that all the conservative people that are saying "it's nothing but lies" actually have a point. Considering a good portion of the film is footage of Bush in various speeches and in various situations with reporters, calling the film "nothing but lies" is actually an accurate assesment.
