I was thinking we should try to make it more so people aren't getting pregnant, like mandatory birth control. I just saw a commercial for sienfeld and there was the answer.

Then later we can ensure people are born into economically and socially stable households by households with jobs and affordable health care because they'd have to go through a semi-medical procedure to get pregnant.... which kinda sucks but it would solve a lot of problems. And the health care plans through work would provide for most of it.

I know it sounds very "Big Brother" ish and controlling but let's face it, the majority of people are a few steps up from monkeys.

What you're talking about does seem like a valid problem. It may just be me but from what I see people who are more "intelligence" or "successful" in life have relatively few children, if any.
However people who are rather poor have many children - thereby sort of doing a sort of "natural selection" and breeding out some "positive" genetic predispositions that some people have.

I realize that much of a person's life also depends on the environment in which the person is raised; like you suggested - parents who have (relatively) stable households have a good environment in which to raise their children. As much as I'd like it to be entirely due to the environment in which the person is raised, I believe genetics [i:7c6c56084b]has[/i:7c6c56084b] to take at least some part in it.

Then again, what I'm talking about the sort of stuff that brought the Nazis to power in Weimar Germany. :|

Yeah I wouldn't be willing to take it that far. Basically if you have a steady job and you have health care you can have a kid is what I'm saying.

I.E. Kids can't have kids, because they'd be "fixed" and would have to make an appointment with a doctor in order to get anyone pregnant. A lot of these poor people with tons of kids probably started having these kids between the ages of 14 and 20. A lot of them do it just to keep welfare coming, some because... I don't know, they're dumb and can't realize it's cheaper to buy condoms than raise forty kids.

this boils down to parents not doing their job.. kids having kids .. it's called parents sitting their kids infrot of the tv for their upbriging or relying on the internet nanny to raise their kids while they do whatever...

if parent taught their kids values.. and what kind of consequences they can suffer for their actions and finally some god damn morals the rest of society wound't need bullshit like haivng their nuts put in a viceclamp so goo don't shoot out when they get off..


Sorry gov intervention is not what is needed.. what is needed is for people to own up to responsibility and pull their weight .. they had fun making a kid and dont want the responsibiliites attached to it and expect society to take care of them..

kid gets girl pregnant ... both parties parents have to share in the responsibility of the new child .. weather it's abortion or upbringing ... once this happens enough times people will get the idea they need to actually pay attentino to what their kids are doing ... not begging the gov to pay for their mistakes... then later on after it happens enough the gov is expected to solve societie's problems ..

sorry .. i was brought up one way ... and i din't turn into a thug gangsta for life or a 13 year old kid knocking up other kids.. i was taught by my parents what things were expected of me .. and what things i could not do.

maybe what needs to be done is periodic checks on parents see if they are really taking care of their kids ... or just letting the boob tube raise them and then if not .. let the gov find priper parents for them .. plenty of couples out ther would take a child and rasie them right but can't have one because of ingertility problems..
