This item came prompty and pacakged well. One problem: it doesn't work. Not at all, not in the least. So I told the seller this and asked him if I could send it back to him for a refund, and now he's telling me:

Well, I'd rather stick to my original plan and just return the minidisc player and get a refund. The guy who sold it is being cool about it, though he's only going to refund me $5 of the $20 shipping charge. I got fucked on the shipping charges -- it was only after I bid on the auction that i saw the guy want $16 to ship! And when the package arrived the postal stamp on the package said it was less than $3. Quite a profit.

I've already purchased another one. On Ebay, it's a bit cheaper and a lower model. I haven't sent this guy any money -- yet.

Remember this story? Well, after bargaining with guy from whom I bought the MiniDisc unit we came to an agreement. I would sent the unit back to him, he would refund me $40 (out of the $80 I paid) at which point I would leave feedback for him. Text that he specified, something like "we did not complete the transaction due to a misunderstanding." After I left that feedback, he was going to refund me the remaining amount of the money.

Sunday I received a PayPal notice from him saying that he had sent me $40. I promptly logged into Ebay and left the agreed upon feedback:

I then sent him email asking for the balance. No word. None at all. I sent another email yesterday which I received no response. Today I'm sending another email with a receipt request.

Here is my plan should he not refund me the money. I've registered an Ebay user "[his_name]_ripped_me_off". He has two existing auctions. If I don't receive the money by the time those auctions are ready, I'm going to bid some ridiculous amount on each auction and leave negative feedback. To make it worse and sense I have no life and am always on the computer, I will do this every autction this fucker puts up until the end of time.

I never deleted it. Did you set up a POP3 client with the account (ie. outlook express?) By default that will download all your messages and remove them from the server.
